Rich in History

If you were to meet a longtime Clinton resident, they would most likely, very proudly tell you about a few key pieces of history they are most proud of. The first might be that Clinton was the first public school to DESEGREGATE in the southeast. Another might be that Clinton was one of the nation’s top cities for harvesting fresh water pearls. Few might even tell you that before Clinton was the adopted namesake, this town was called Burrville after Aaron burr. If history is what you are looking for, we have it here.
